Game-Changer Alert: Kari Lake Scores Massive Endorsement

(Republican Senate News) – Arizona Republican Kari Lake picked up a massive endorsement from the National Republican Senatorial Committee on Tuesday that will surely give her campaign a huge boost. Lake is a fantastic conservative who sticks to her principles, both in private and public life, that’s a consistency we dearly need right now.

“Kari Lake is one of the most talented candidates in the country. Kari is building out an effective campaign operation that has what it takes to flip Arizona’s Senate seat in November,” NRSC chair Sen. Steve Daines of Montana remarked in a statement announcing the endorsement. “I’m proud to endorse Kari Lake for United States Senate.”

The third ranking member of the GOP in the Senate, Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming, also threw his support behind Lake, who is a long time supporter of former President Donald Trump, declaring on X, “Kari is doing everything she needs to do to put together a winning campaign!”

“The NRSC backing comes a day after Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida announced their endorsements of Lake, according to The Hill,” The Western Journal revealed in its latest report.

“Other Republican lawmakers who are backing Lake’s campaign include Sens. Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, Tom Cotton of Arkansas, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, Roger Marshall of Kansas, as well as GOP Reps. Elise Stefanik of New York and Jim Banks of Indiana, the Daily Caller reported,” the article continued. “Lake, a former Phoenix television news anchor, narrowly lost her race against Democrat Katie Hobbs in 2022 governor’s race, which was marred by widespread Election Day voter machine malfunctioning in Maricopa County, the state’s most populous.”

Lake first announced her intention to run for the United States Senate last fall. Almost right off the bat, Trump endorsed her. The two have a close working relationship and if she wins this seat, you can guarantee she’ll be able to help him get his agenda passed into law.

Lake responded to the NRSC’s endorsement in a post on X, proclaiming, “The GOP is UNITED in our fight to take back this Senate seat AND take back America in 2024! The Senate Majority Runs through Arizona. I am honored to have the [NRSC] endorsement & I can’t wait to get to work!”

The seat that Lake is vying for is currently occupied by Sen. Krysten Sinema who made a rather big splash in recent times for leaving the Democratic Party and going independent. At this point, Sinema has not announced if she will be seeking re-election.

“Sinema has until April to qualify for the ballot, which will require her campaign to gather about 42,000 signatures of Arizona voters, CBS News reported,” the article noted.

Sinema appeared on a recent edition of “Face the Nation” in order to talk about a border bill she helped negotiate and was asked about her intentions to run again. She deflected the question.

“I think folks across Arizona and the country know that when I decide I’m going to work on something that’s important for our state and for our nation, I stay focused on it,” the senator commented.

The bill that Sinema helped put together ultimately failed to gather the support it needed in order to pass the Senate.

“Though polling has been limited, Lake has a commanding lead over Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb in the GOP primary race. The RealClear Polling average, based on surveys conducted last year, showed her nearly 30 percentage points ahead,” the WJ disclosed.

We desperately need to flip Arizona to red. Let’s hope Lake can make a contribution towards that.
