(Republican Senate News) – A Republican congresswoman who is sick and tired of seeing American tax dollars go towards Ukrainian war efforts against Russia, while our own people here can barely afford to buy groceries from week to week, is seeking to lay the proverbial smackdown on extortionists and other unsavory folk in Congress by introducing legislation that would force these individuals to fight for Ukraine on the front line. I have to say, that’s the most brilliant idea. It’s funny how a person’s stance on an issue can change when it suddenly impacts them directly.
“According to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida has drafted a bill that would ‘require Members of Congress who advocate for providing military support for Ukraine to enlist in the armed forces and to serve on active duty in support of a contingency operation,'” The Western Journal said.
“She has called it the Senators Can Help Underpin Military Engagement and Readiness Act, or the SCHUMER Act, named for Democratic Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, who recently warned that young Americans might find themselves in harm’s way unless Congress agrees to throw $60 billion more into the bottomless pit of Ukraine’s war against Russia, which some regard as a giant money-laundering operation designed to enrich the U.S. establishment and the military-industrial complex,” the report noted.
The deplorable threat was made while he urged members of the GOP to throw support behind a now defeated piece of legislation that claimed to be about border security, but was really about sending funds to Ukraine for their skirmish with Russia.
“If we don’t aid Ukraine, Putin will walk all over Ukraine. We will lose the war, and we could be fighting in Eastern Europe in a NATO ally in a few years. Americans won’t like that,” Schumer asserted to MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe’ co-host Mika Brzezinski on Monday.

What kind of man wants to send money he himself did not earn, but which was ripped from the bank accounts of hard working, middle-class Americans, to a corrupt foreign government, instead of securing the border and preventing an invasion that is now rotting his very own nation from the inside out?
Illegal aliens are murdering innocent people, including children. They’re bringing drugs across the border, contributing to the fentanyl addictions of untold numbers of individuals, often leading them to a premature end. On top of that, terrorists are slipping through the cracks and gaining access to the interior of our country where they disappear, likely starting sleeper cells and lying in wait to launch attacks on the citizens of the United States. And that is not a priority to Schumer?
Luna’s proposal is no doubt in response to these statements from Schumer.

My bill, the SCHUMER Act, would require Members of Congress to fight on the front lines in Ukraine if they support Schumer’s calls for American sons & daughters to fight,” Luna stated on the social media platform X.

Luna’s post also helped to clarify that her bill was not simply targeting members of Congress who supported the aid package, but those who wanted to send U.S. troops into combat. It really would be nice if major outlets would do a little better job when it comes to fact checking, wouldn’t you agree? That is a pretty significant matter to get wrong.
We all know this bill will never pass, but that’s not Luna’s point. She’s making a statement in the most bold way she knows how. It’s nice to see someone stand up for our troops and the American taxpayer.

Good on Luna LOL. I vote that every demo/rino who continues to thwart securing our border- busloads be sent and dropped off at their doorsteps. How about each one’s salaries, their ill-gotten insider trading $ be taken/forfeited to go into the coffer to pay for these illegals. Each and every lib/demo/rino must take in a minimum of 4 illegals into their homes. How big is Schumer’s mansion, how many mansions does he own? Bernie owns 3 mansions, right? Pelosi, Water, McConnell, Nadler, Durben, etc. have PLENTY of rooms! This would slow their roll.
Unfortunately, it will never hit home with any of these politicians that support sending more and more of our money to Ukraine until one of their families suffer a loss of a family member by an illegal, they let into our country. It is the hard truth, and the media would spin it as a failure of Trump’s policy.
This idea is a real hoot….kudos to the Congresswoman.
